    The application of the Kluge therapy requires certain conditions and is linked with particular requirements:

    • The diagnosis of MS must be neurologically secured.
    • The Kluge therapy will be followed through by a doctor.
    • The patients wish for the improvement of his/her life situation should be evident.
    • The taking of Lactulose follows an exactly defined dosage corresponding to the stool consistency.
    • The food-in-take therapy is based on guidelines of so called protein units, which are regulated by certain amino acids with part substitutions of the protein intake through a conform food supplement. The dosage follows according to the dependency of the body mass.
    • The water balance is regulated through the amount drunk.
    • Following this bladder and sphincter training is required.
    • With the reduction of the muscle spastic the adapted physiotherapy can be added. This comprises of the change to the isometric training exercises and speech therapy, pelvic base and a special bladder and balance training.
    • A supportive medication of vitamins B6 and B12 in combination with vitamin E and C is necessary.
    • The patient should not receive any medication that could damage his/her immune system. If such medication is absolutely necessary there will be a slowing down of the Kluge therapy approach.
    • The patient should also be accompanied by a dentist.

    If these premises are fulfilled then nothing should in principle stand in the way of the application of the Kluge therapy.
